Tasha Walker was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where she attended Hocking Technical College and received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2009.  Post-graduation, she gained experience as a registered nurse in various clinical settings such as; medical-surgical, pre- and post-operative care, ENT, wound care, long term care and home health.  Later, she was offered the opportunity to relocate to Savannah, GA in 2011, to work as a psychiatric charge nurse at Coastal Behavioral Health servicing adolescents and adults with substance abuse and mental health disorders. She decided to further her education and obtained a Master's Degree in 2016 from South University with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in order to provide an abundance of care and services to patients from birth throughout older adulthood. She graduated summa cum laude and is a member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
